I just ran across this post from Jeremy Cowart showing his latest print portfolio. It’s a very insightful video in that he quickly talks through the spreads throughout the book and why he paired certain images. He touches on many things that I had never considered looking at my work. Lots to digest. And, naturally, it’s beautiful, inspiring work!

Very cool. I sort of in a round about way have collaborated with Jeremy on a photo of Imogen Heap [not one shown in his port]. One of my landscape photos was projected onto her and the garden wall at her home, and Jeremy then re-photographed the scene. It was used on her album, Ellipse. Kinda neat, since I love them both.
Here’s my original:

And the final image Jeremy made:

How cool is that??! Congrats! Love both shots. How did that come to pass?
She held a contest for the artwork. I’ve been a huge fan of hers for years, and didn’t think I had a chance in hell out of all of the entries that were submitted. I wrote a blog about it all here: http://atypical-belle.blogspot.com/2009/11/my-squealing-inner-fangirl-let-me-show.html
Okay.
Now I want to sell all my gear.
Thanks.
